The Annual Report for calendar year 2005 will be published on this site as soon as the Report is tabled in both Houses of Parliament.
The Report was conveyed by the Office of the Contractor General to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and to the President of the Senate on July 20, 2006. The OCG has since been advised that the Report was tabled in the House of Representatives on July 25, 2006.
Under Section 28 (4) of the Contractor General Act, the Contractor General has the discretionary power, in the public interest, to "publish in such manner as he thinks fit" his Annual Report, but only after such Report has been laid in Parliament.
The OCG will therefore continue to await the tabling of the Report in the Senate.
