NCC Registered and Qualified Contractors

A contractor or supplier who wishes to tender on a Government contract, of $275,000 and above in value, must be first registered with the National Contracts Commission (NCC). The Contractor or supplier needs to do so in order to become qualified to submit a valid tender or to be awarded a Government contract.

If a Public Body awards a contract to a contractor who is not validly registered with the NCC, the contract award would have been made in contravention of the Government's established procurement procedures.

There are very few exceptions to this rule. Please contact the Technical Services Division of the Office of the Contractor General (OCG), at 876-929-6460, if you are an interested contractor or supplier and you are in doubt.
